Subject and Association DescriptionThe first Soroptimist Club was created in 1921 in Oakland, California, USA. There are now 72,000 club members in 121 countries across the globe. Soroptimist International Scotland South Region wanted to contribute to celebrating the centenary in 2021.
This booklet contains a wealth of information giving a small insight into what Soroptimists can achieve. It accompanies a pack of cards presenting a wide range of Scotland South Region past and present members, including some from clubs no longer in existence.
