About this objectPostcard captioned 'Miss Fanny Kemble as Juliet' produced by the V&A's Theatre Museum from an etching and aquatint coloured by hand, published by M & M Skelt c. 1837-40 and held in the H R Beard Collection. Kemble first played the role of Juliet in William Shakespeare's play 'Romeo and Juliet' at the Theatre Royal Covent Garden on 14th November 1822.
