Subject and Association DescriptionFor International Women’s Day 2019, Uncovered Artistry CIC and the Glasgow School of Art Intersectional Feminism Society ran an embroidery workshop and public exhibition. The workshop was open to survivors of sexual and domestic abuse who identify as women, and self-identifying women from the Fem Soc. Participants learned new embroidery skills and created a collaborative quilt, which was then displayed alongside work by self-identifying women in the GSA community and by survivors who identify as women from across Scotland.
