Subject and Association DescriptionMcDermid Ladies football team, formerly known as Raith Rovers, severed ties with the main club after David Goodwillie (who a judge ruled had raped a woman) was signed for the men's side in January 2022. They are named after Val McDermid, the author who moved her sponsorship to the new team in protest. The McDermid Ladies' first match was played at Windmill Community Campus in Kirkcaldy, Fife, instead of Stark's Park, Raith Rovers' ground: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-60280003
