Subject and Association DescriptionCaption on back of postcard:
Sheila Capstick played snooker at a Wakefield club for 3 years before it enforced a "men-only" snooker rule. She organised a 50-strong picket and 2,000-strong petition but the committee refused to budge, instead threatening Sheila and her supporters with expulsion. She is now helping to organise ERICCA - Equal Rights in Clubs Campaign for Action.
