Subject and Association Descriptionhttps://www.engender.org.uk/content/organisations/463-the-parliament-project:
The Parliament Project exists to inspire, empower and encourage women to run for political office in the UK. As well as there being systemic barriers to women's political participation, research shows women are more likely to run for office if they are encouraged and supported. It is this support that the Parliament Project supplies. Launched in summer 2016 in Edinburgh and London we run informative and skills building events, provide links to current research in women in politics and offer a peer networking service to support women's journey to get elected.
https://www.elect-her.org.uk/who-we-are-landing:
We are here to equip you with the knowledge, confidence, and skills you need to stand for political office. We work across the political spectrum, and welcome women from all backgrounds and beliefs, representing all parties and none. Representation is important. Politics doesn’t work unless it really reflects and represents communities. It’s time for a different type of politics. We believe the world will be a better place when more women are in power. We are a tiny but mighty team of women across Britain committed to building a world where at least 51% of elected officials are women.
