About this objectSingle-sided cardboard placard painted black all over and hand painted on one side with the slogan 'Tunnocks Tea Cakes! Irn Bru! Let the Self-ID Bill Thru!' in the colours of the trans flag. The placard was made by Stevie, who said: "I actually live at the moment in a house with 13 people and it was a collaborative effort, coming up with lots of signs between us all, and I had lots of other suggestions from friends." The slogan became a chant at the Trans Rights Rally in Glasgow, 21st January 2023.

The Bill changes the process to get a gender recognition certificate (GRC). A GRC is a certificate that legally recognises that a person’s gender is not the gender that they were assigned at birth, but is their “acquired gender”.
