Subject and Association DescriptionSnowball was a non-violent direct-action campaign against military bases and establishments in the 1980s. It was a national campaign to cut the wire openly at nuclear bases around the country in order to fight for the legal case against nuclear weapons in the courts.
Susan Cox and Dinah John were sentenced to 14 days in prison for non-payment of fines imposed on criminal damages charges. They each cut one strand of the RAF Sculthorpe perimeter fence as a protest against nuclear weapons.
