Subject and Association DescriptionThe scrapbook was compiled by the donor's mother, who was born in Liverpool in 1943. The donor notes: "My Mother ensured that both my sister and I had the support and encouragement to gain an education. We both studied at University and this opened doors to rewarding careers. Despite being intelligent and working hard, this was not the case for her. The scrapbook made me realise just how different our experiences had been and my hope is that it could give future generations an insight into the expectation of women in previous generations."
