About this objectSmall booklet titled 'Visions of Peace Through Youthful Eyes', published in 2005 by Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland. The introduction by Janet Garnons-Williams, Federation President, states: "This book has grown from an idea developed within the SIGBI Federation Programme Action Committee to raise awareness of the need to actively work for peace among young people. Clubs across the Federation organized competitions and entries have been received from a wide range of children from a variety of communities. The book links the theme for 2003/4 of Peace and Tolerance with this year's strap line that Together we are strong, as it emphasizes that peace is far more than simply the absence of war and portrays a vision of peace as an active force from many communities working with Soroptimists.
