Subject and Association Descriptionhttps://rollerbillies.com:
The Cambridge Rollerbillies (CRB) formed in February 2008, inspired by London Roller Derby who first brought the sport to the UK. Founded as Romsey Town Rollerbillies, the league has been teaching people to skate and play roller derby in the city of Cambridge for over 15 years. The Covid-19 pandemic affected life across the globe and presented unique challenges for contact sport. CRB pulled together to support its members; training over Zoom, skating outdoors and returning to socially-distanced sessions when regulations allowed. Our A team competes in the Five Nations tournament and our recently re-founded B team – the Punt Rockers – plays a variety of friendly fixtures.
Cambridge Rollerbillies welcome all women and non-binary people to join us as skaters, and all genders to join us as officials – both on- and off-skates – and as volunteers.
