About this objectPlain white presentation box containing a small hardback publication titled '2am Rolling Home': an original diary kept by Barbara Russell, and reproduced and compiled by her daughter, Sarah Booth. The blurb on the back describes the memoir as "following the day-to-day events of Barbara Russell as a young woman and nurse, her everyday life and travels recorded in a five year hand written diary 1946-1950 in post-war Britain."
A small bookmark has been slipped inside the diary cover, which is also accompanied by a small sheet headed "A little bit about..." which includes some themes and corresponding diary pages.
