Subject and Association Descriptionhttps://childcarehistory.org.uk/map/:
This website has been created to share the untold history of childcare activism, starting with London, UK. It originated in the project Grow Your Own, which was run by On the Record in partnership with Post Pandemic Childcare Coalition and funded by Trust for London.
Our map shows you where childcare activism has happened across London, mainly concentrating on the period from 1970 until today. You can filter the map by category, search it or look at it as a list.
The map is a beginning - we know there is a lot more childcare history that still needs to be documented. If you would like to add some information, or correct anything you've seen on this site, please contact us.
