Subject and Association Descriptionhttps://rainycityrollerderby.com:
Founded in Greater Manchester UK in 2008, we’re the North West’s first and finest women’s roller derby league, entirely run and owned by the skaters, for the skaters. Rainy City is made up of three skating teams and our wonderful crew of skating and non-skating officials. Our All Stars team represents the very best Rainy City has to offer. They’re in the top 20 WFTDA leagues and compete against some of the greatest roller derby teams in the world. Rainy Reckoning is Rainy City’s second team and one of the top in Europe. It’s a place for rising stars to shine; playing competitive games with a focus on growth and improvement. Rebels are Rainy City’s third team and an amazing place for skaters to hone their skills and play competitively.

Glasgow Roller Girls were the first flat track roller derby league to be established in Scotland and the fourth in the UK. Founding members Teri Toxic and Mistress Malicious drummed up interest through MySpace and the first training session took place on Sunday 29th April 2007. GRG rebranded in 2012 as Glasgow Roller Derby. Fifteen years on from that first GRG training session, Glasgow Roller Derby continues to move from strength to strength while remaining true to its roots as a DIY club. Everyone involved in the club is a volunteer, and everything – training, recruitment, fundraising, merchandising, paperwork, and all of the other aspects of keeping a large and diverse organisation running smoothly - is entirely in the hands of the skaters, referees, and non-skating officials of GRD.

Kallio Rolling Rainbow is a roller derby league that was established in 2010 in Helsinki, Finland. Kallio Rolling Rainbow welcomes anyone regardless of age, gender or body type. Our fundamental value is to accept people exactly as they are. Ultimately, our goal is to celebrate the existence of every color of the rainbow. Roller derby often attracts enthusiasts to sports who may not be reached by other sports. The league improves the physical fitness of its members and those interested in the sport while inspiring new people to engage in sports and community activities. It is also important for our league to promote interpersonal equality regardless of nationality, skin color, gender, or sexual orientation. Our A-team, All Colours, is current Finnish Champions while our B-team, Kinapori Fistfunkers, hold the I-Division championship.
