About this objectValentine's Series postcard captioned 'Oh, what a Difference! 1. Reception of a Constitutional Deputation to the British Parliament at Westminster. 2. Its result.' The postcard is split into two images, the first (the deputation) depicting two well dressed women being saluted by three policemen beside a signpost marked 'St. Stephens ¼ mile', and the second showing one of the women being forcibly led away by the policemen.
