On the wall is a sign reading 'WOMENS' SUFFRAGE LIST OF MEETINGS'. while on the floor, a handwritten note says 'Dear Ted, afraid shall be late - important committee meeting - Alice'. Ted, who wears an expression of acute consternation, is in the act of accidentally scalding the cat while attempting to make tea. Initialled A.MC.
